This painting is inspired by the life of #fridakahlo. I was so deeply touched by her life story after reading a biography called, "Frida" by Hayden Herrera. I can't explain it, but I feel like I was touched by her spirit somehow. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose felt this way. Here's one painting in my series of 3 painted in 2014 titled, 'Corazón de Frida' acrylic and oil. Frida expressed so much love despite her suffering.
