I created the 'Busy Mom' series when I felt just this way; a busy mom. Art is only part of my rich and full life. I am a mother and also a wife. I go back and forth between all of my duties, and it is easy to get overwhelmed at times; that's why I created 'Rushing'. I felt like like was rushing around from this to that, trying to accomplish it all.

Day of the Dead
I've said sometimes, 'I feel like the grocery store is my second home!' because I go there 3 times a week, just trying to keep the refrigerator full! This is why I created 'El Mercado'. Lastly, at the end of the day, I am so grateful for my family. They are the ones that truly matter. Although I am busy, I wouldn't have it any other way. I created 'Family Time' because it's my family, and also anyone's family. The time you spend with those you love are the most meaningful time you have. I had to create these 3 paintings, to shed light on my own life and knew others (especially moms) could relate.
