I will only produce 50 of this Giclée in two sizes. Only one edition. Signed and numbered on the back by me.
I paint skeletons because I believe it is my calling in life. I get endless visions of skeletons and I paint them. I paint the human experience and hope to capture the underlying beauty that connects us all. When others view my work, or the work of other artists, I think they sort of understand these things, consciously or not, whether they understand anything about 'Dia de los Muertos'. They don't really have to, to appreciate all the great art that's coming out. It's about liking it or not. Does the art speak to you?, does it make you feel something? Does it remind you of a time or place, eating your grandmother's 'chile'? It's art after all. I'm incredibly grateful these days to be able to share my art with others and to be considered a part of 'Dia de los Muertos' phenomenon is really special.”
I print on the best paper for art. I print all my 8 1/2" by 11" and the 13" by 19" on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper (see more here)
