Day of the Dead
Duermase' is the first painting, #1 out of 3 in my 'RIP' series. I wanted each painting, in this series to show a peaceful or restful scene, each skeleton lying horizontally. I also wanted each painting to have an earth element. I chose to create a sleeping skeleton, in a heavenly sky. The emotions put into this painting, are that of peace and serenity. Eternal rest.
