The inspiration behind 'Ghosts of our Passed' comes from the venue where I have my annual exhibition for the Florida Day of the Dead celebration. It takes place in a historic Inn (New River Inn) right on the river in historic Fort Lauderdale. Every year when I arrive there in October, I feel this knowing presence of the place, like it's welcoming me back home and I'm right where I need to be.
