The idea to paint 'Dos Flamingos' just popped into my mind, last early January, when the days are short and I was looking forward to Spring sunshine already. I decided I just wanted to paint this time, something purely fun, makes you happy, full of color and life and this image came to me. I began it in January of 2021 and then needed to get some other paintings completed first, then finally came back to it this summer. It was the perfect atmosphere to complete the painting; summer vibes!
