I remember as a small child, my mother filling my bedroom walls with pictures; art for children. I can still remember them. One was the poem, "Monday's child is fair of face", with dancing children printed on a wooden plaque. Another was a set of three different kittens in various gardens. I always felt like the Siamese one's eyes followed me wherever I was in the room! I also had countless unicorn posters!! When I created this little series of three paintings, 'Mi Gallo Prieto', 'Mis Cerditos' and 'Mi Pajaro Rojo' I pictured what I would have and could have starred for hours as a child, waking up in the morning. I also would have remembered if I had a painting like these, growing up and would have kept them always. So here's some good art for a child's bedroom, in my opinion, that will inspire and spark imagination and wonderment. If my children were little, I'd put them in their room but they're all grown up!
