The 'Le Toilette' series is inspired by the good emotions around taking a bathtub at any age!. As a child, I was fortunate to have a lot of bath toys; some of my favorites were a mermaid doll with bright pink hair, a yellow plastic clam with eyes that would open up and inside was a flat pink tongue (also with a face) that could suck in water to be squeezed out in a shooting stream at intended victims (usually the mermaid). I also had a scary plastic JAWS shark that was really supposed to be a table game but my mom let me play with it in the tub. When I became a mother with my own son and daughter, I tried to make it fun for them too. They loved the water crayons; Just happy feelings surrounding bath time and childhood.
Bath time has and can also be an intimate way to reconnect with your special someone. I love the added details like bubble bath, something bubbly, colored disco lights, candles, incense, music and I'll leave it at that haha!
Overall, I view bath time as a healthy way to escape today's noise and just RELAX! I know we all need more of that. I love to lose myself in a good book or music and just fly for a while; good for the heart, mind and soul.
