I've always been intrigued with old folk tales about the devil. This piece in also inspired by old school Chicano art that I grew up with and the "smile now, cry later" street art. In highschool and became interested in this style and even had dreams of becoming an airbrush artist for lowriders. That's a trip down memory lane!
